I had to look up what kind of cactus I have in bloom

I think it's Gymnocalycium, nothing too crazy but I've been so excited for her to bloom and it was today!

Found my first grid like trinket shelf !

Its an old Pepsi 24 pack container, initially I almost passed on it but it's perfect! Found at an antique mall for about $40.

Fact finding letter

So I had to put in a request to appeal after getting a second phonecall from unemployment then a denial letter a few days after. I previously already put in detailed explanations and documentation to support. It seems like she twisted my words when saying after yet another explanation, "I did the best to my abilities with what I had," like I meant I left children in my preschool class unsupervised while chasing one who frequently ran off.. Long story short she agreed with my employer despite the story not adding up, if the higher up said she was watching the incident then no children were unsupervised at all.

Anyways I requested the appeal and received a letter saying the commissioner will be fact finding and they will let me know what to do/if a new decision is made. Has anyone had any luck with this, a new decision in your favor and avoiding an actual hearing?

Update- the letter stating the commissioner will conduct fact finding was dated 7/6 and I just received an email/text today 7/14 saying benefits will be paid. On the labor.gov site it shows I'm in my waiting week and the back pay date. Hoping this means approved 🫠

Questionnaire multiple er#s FEIN

I attempted to file for unemployment mid April, everything seemed to be official and submitted. This was not the case since I checked back this month and had to complete my claim as well as speak to an edd representative. I did as told and received a questionnaire in the mail a few days after the determination amount. It states "you *may have been discharged from your job with multiple er#s for FEIN," does this mean my most recent employer FEIN was inaccurate? If it means multiple reasons for discharge I was expecting to dispute this as my separation letter was vague and had statements that were false.

It was abrupt and I think a big factor for me being let go was because I vented to a colleague. She was asking what I was going to do later in the day when I had to work with another staff which I reported to hr for creating a hostile work environment. I said if she did XYZ I would walk out once I had my responsibilities covered. Within about an hour or so I was called into the office to be given termination papers basically stating I couldn't work openly with others. To add to this pile on, my supervisor also made an alarming accusation that wasn't even in the separation letter.
