Submitted my CBD case Oct 2025 in Warsaw (self-submitted).

Got case number same day and formal letter saying deadline is Jan 2027. I understand current backlog is ~20 months before case is even opened.

Questions:
Is Jan 2027 the right point for ponaglenie / complaint, or too early?

Is it worth getting a lawyer or provider to submit escalation requests on my behalf, or does that make no real difference in practice? Can I do it myself? And if so, can anyone give advice on the procedure? Happy to pay for someone’s time if they are a lawyer on the matter.

I currently have an ongoing Polish citizenship confirmation case (descent) and whilst I went in to the London consulate in an attempt to obtain a PESEL for the e-delivery service, the consulate told me can’t do this but I can register my UK birth certificate / foreign birth before confirmation is complete.

This surprised me because I assumed confirmation had to come first.

- Has anyone from the UK or elsewhere done this?
- Were you able to register before confirmation?
- Did you receive a Polish birth certificate first?
- Did it help speed things up later?

Interested to hear if others have experienced this.

Has anyone else got an issue with loading the case screen? I can log in but shows "An error has occurred" when viewing the case page.

There seems to be some applications on there with not much movement. I see why this would be - and for obvious reasons - they will remain like this for quite some time.

However, do you (mods) think, for the sake of the curious on here, that we could have a “most recent update” and “date updated” section?

Just an idea for now but we could post a comment on the mega thread where people have posted the tracker details? I am happy to potentially chip in somewhere and contact people directly. I would seek permission for any involvement first before doing so.

I feel this would help visualise the process that we go through and what stages are involved. Understandably it would do nothing for timing as each case is individual. But without being too specific in the description, it could give those who are waiting a taste of what to expect and interestingly what other people are going through.

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are travelling to a few places in the US in September and we’ll end up in Tennessee towards the end of the trip. I’m staying a couple of extra days on my own afterwards and I would like some suggestions of things to do or places to go before going back home.

At the moment I’m considering driving down to Atlanta, Georgia and spending a couple of days there, but I’m completely open to other ideas as well. I’ll have a car, so anywhere within a reasonable driving distance from Tennessee could work. Willing to travel maybe 3-5 hours by car but if the route is nice happy to make a bit of a rolling trip.

I’m into country music, good food, cool cities/towns, nice scenery, but I am very open to nature and places that are fun to explore for a couple of days. Would love any recommendations for routes, hidden gems, national parks, smaller towns, or cities worth visiting.
