New lymphoma diagnosis

My 5 year old German shepherd was just diagnosed with lymphoma (don’t know b or T cell yet). Still being evaluated but likely starting CHOP Friday.

She is otherwise very healthy, still acting like her old self. Really just discovered this getting a mass evaluated.

I guess I am trying to realistically understand what to expect. What remission will look like, what surveillance generally consists of. What to expect her quality of life to reasonably be. Also with immunotherapy making such a big difference for these cancers in people, I am very curious what if anything may be offered in even a clinical trial setting to help improve her odds.

Very griefstruck and grasping at straws here.

I’m a physician so medical jargon is fine in responses.

Lump on our girl

Not looking for advice. Saw our Vet, biopsy results pending. Wife and I have a pit in our stomachs and I constantly find myself holding back tears. I love this dog so much, I hope we have more time with her. I hate the waiting.

Continued thinning switching from fin to fit

I had been on fin for a couple years for some hairline recession, decided to switch to dut towards the end of March hoping to get some regrowth. I overlapped fin 1mg and dut .5mg daily for about a month in April to hopefully prevent a shed.

Since about May I have noticed significant crown thinning when I previously had a relatively thick crown with associated intermittent tenderness and itching. Saw a derm already, doesn’t seem inflammatory and no seb derm per them. Did start nizoral for some mild dandruff

Curious if anyone here has had similar experiences.
