Laptop for aerospace engineering?

Hi, i’m going in aerospace engineering this fall and was wondering what laptops you recommend. I currently have a MacBook Air 2017 but it’s dying and from what I’ve read, MacBooks aren’t great for engineering. My budget is up to 2k. I want it to last and want it to be on the lighter side. Thanks!

Severe gyno

I’m 19, 5’2, about 130 lbs. I hate my gyno and really can’t wait for surgery. I’m in the process of getting it, but yk it takes some time. I have to wear a bra if not it’s really uncomfortable. I’ve been trying to hit the gym and trying to fill my pecs but it’s real slow. Anyone got some gym advice?

Hi, i’m gonna go in aerospace engineering this fall and was wondering if laptops are really necessary for the first year/semester? And if so, do you have any recommendations? I’ve always had a Mac and would prefer to go with that, but im worried that the programs won’t run well. I have a 2017 MacBook Air right now, but I know it won’t be able to run anything, it can barely run google :/ anyways, I would love to know your thoughts on this. Thanks!
