[partially lost] The Doctor (2005)
hello guys, for first i want to say this film isn't like a lost media,i know it was able to selling and someone has watched it, it's more like a partially lost(i'm not claiming this film is definitely lost. since an official DVD release is known to exist, I'm trying to determine whether any accessible copy still survives or whether it has effectively become partially lost to the public.), or just extremely obscure, for second, im a fan of music band called "death in june", and there was a character "narrator" which has been played by Douglas P.,the only one member in that band, and i found information about that film on di6 official site
so, here's all information i found:
the film was created in 2005, but music was written in 2006 ,film has IMDb page, and DVD copy of the film was sold out on eBay,on eBay was also a response about that film: "I am giving this a good review only because my son asked me to buy this dvd because he wanted this film. I personally did not enjoy it, but my son did. To me it was an amateurish attempt at a story that barely held itself together. But the crew and cast deserves an 'A' for effort for trying to make something with limited funds, talent and storytelling ability. They are a courageous bunch that probably had a lot of fun making their film."
the director of a film is a Thomas Nölan, duration is about 80\~ minutes,on the official Death in June website, it is listed among Douglas P.'s releases, as he participated in the project
plot is about a psychologist who, after his wife's death, wanders through a strange, almost fairy-tale world, encountering bizarre characters -such as the ghost of a child and a griffin,it is not a narrative film in the conventional sense, but rather a surreal journey but i hope it's so interesting
at this point i'm considering contacting Thomas Nöla directly, but before doing that i wanted to ask: has anyone ever seen this film, owns the DVD, or knows whether it was ever digitized? i want to find a digital copy of it (if it's exists for sure) or find a dvd with that film and digitaized it
