[homemade] Smoky pulled chicken and Christmas gammon lasagne
This is a homemade recipe. The chicken is marinated in spices and yoghurt overnight, seared the next day and then shredded. The gammon is soaked in Coca Cola with herbs and spices for 1.5 hours, then glazed with honey mustard and brown sugar before being cooled and chopped into chunks.
I make a rich white sauce roux with a few extra ingredients to give it more flavour. The lasagne is then layered up and topped with a mixture of béchamel, cream and lots of Parmesan.
This tasted absolutely unreal. Happy to provide the recipe if anyone wants it.
