I'm on the first hour and a half of whitefall, and I gotta say, I'm in love with the characters. She's so good at setting up characters and giving us a living breathing person from just a few tidbits of information next to pretty top-notch dialogue. Same with borrasca.

Sure, she can't write endings and for some reason the cornball demon starts pulling the strings like ratatouille halfway through the story, but so many authors can't write endings, big ones like Stephen King included.

Her stories aren't perfect and I can see why these corny 180 tone shifts ruin it for so many people, I agree. It ruined it for me too on occasion.

But I won't pretend that borrasca V isn't one of my most rewatched episodes, and I for sure can't look at that dialogue and at those characters and say that's a bad author.

Thing is, if I wanna read a great story that immerses me, I read CK Walker. If I want a campy story I'll also read CK Walker. And her stories are definitely some of the most memorable. There's no way you end a CK Walker story episode and you haven't had fun one way or another

I'm a sucker for cosmic horror and I loved Dur vazhatun's color out of space theme. Verkal dromak imo didn't go anywhere. Since the kraken can't be killed, openly embracing it would've been a great thing to have instead of just awkwardly acknowledging its existence and influence and just continuing on as normal. Do you guys know if there is any more cosmic horror in the mod?

I was under the impression that Corin died her first death during the battle of Castonath while protecting Lothane, but the dogeater clan "bared fangs" idea description seems to imply that she first died during the battle of Rottenstep at the hands of Grom Dogeater. Grom seems kinda cracked not gonna lie, but is is just a retcon or am I missing something?
