C.K. Walker is great actually

I'm on the first hour and a half of whitefall, and I gotta say, I'm in love with the characters. She's so good at setting up characters and giving us a living breathing person from just a few tidbits of information next to pretty top-notch dialogue. Same with borrasca.

Sure, she can't write endings and for some reason the cornball demon starts pulling the strings like ratatouille halfway through the story, but so many authors can't write endings, big ones like Stephen King included.

Her stories aren't perfect and I can see why these corny 180 tone shifts ruin it for so many people, I agree. It ruined it for me too on occasion.

But I won't pretend that borrasca V isn't one of my most rewatched episodes, and I for sure can't look at that dialogue and at those characters and say that's a bad author.

Thing is, if I wanna read a great story that immerses me, I read CK Walker. If I want a campy story I'll also read CK Walker. And her stories are definitely some of the most memorable. There's no way you end a CK Walker story episode and you haven't had fun one way or another

There is no bus station in Buchanan and I can’t take it anymore (Whitefall)

I have been stewing on this since I listened to the Whitefall episode and I NEED to put this somewhere so someone can see it.

THERE IS NOT A SINGLE BUS STATION IN THE TOWN OF BUCHANAN OR BUCHANAN COUNTY.

The nearest bus station from Buchanan County is in WYTHEVILLE. (obviously not including local transit) While the nearest to the Town of Buchanan is in Roanoke.

I listened to the Whitefall episode while I was at work and I felt like I was going insane.

Anyways here’s some pictures of Buchanan County because it’s a beautiful chunk of Appalachia that doesn’t get enough love!

(also both are pronounced buck-annon)

Edit: I work for the Virginia Department of Transportation’s southwest region and I’m VERY passionate about southwest VA- I am the only person that cares about this topic and I am VERY aware of that

My Creepcast Episode Ranking

I saw people on here posting their own tierlists so I thought I'd throw my ranking into the mix. This is more based on my enjoyment of the episode rather than just the quality of the story, which is why so many bad stories are high up. Please don't yell at me in the comments lol, this is just for fun.

Even more sketches

Feel like I was doing so well and then the quality just nosedived off a cliff with the last one

CreepCast Bingo Card

I saw everyone’s bingo cards from a while ago and was inspired and wanted to join. But tried to make it more like applicable to new stories as they come out!

The Map(?)

All I've been able to see in the background. I know it's a map, but all I see is a poorly drawn elf man Edit: first pic is how I see it, second is just the map

WARNING: It's my opinion

  1. I will always be a My Sexy Neighbor defender.

Otherwise, I'd say a lot of the creepypastas in the "bad/silly story" tier fall under "silly" for me like "The Ronald McDonald House" which I do like and think is kind of a banger B-creepypasta classic. Same with "Smile Dog" and "Gregory88." And the "Not to my tastes" tier is just for stories that I either don't think are actually that bad, but still don't like b/c I'm picky like most of the people on this subreddit.
