We used to live here.

So I really enjoyed this story. I just finished it today. Hunter and Isaiah had very different interpretations of the story and the meaning behind it so I was just curious what other people thought. Like the coatrack in the basement story I really enjoyed it but I will say I'm left with more questions than answers at the end. I don't know anything about the book or other material that may answer these questions so I only have the episode to go on. Hunter was pretty convinced that eve was just crazy and Isaiah believed there was a supernatural thing going on. I gotta say I agree with Isaiah a lot more mostly because I think the whole " the person telling the story is crazy and you can't trust everything you've seen" is kinda lazy. Also I thought the whole picture in the locket at the end implies that there must be some kind of dimensional or time thing going on. But anyways enough of me rambling. 😅

Bower's youngblood

I'm reading Bower's take on youngblood and am absolutely loving it. Just curious what other people thought of it. The art is great and the story seems to do a good job taking elements of Rob and Alan Moore's prior extreme/awesome stories but in a modern telling.

Dark continent calamities

I feel like the calamities are something I keep forgetting about in hxh. Something I've been wondering about recently is what do you think the calamities are. What I mean is do you think they are actual species that just exist in the dark continent or are they basically the result of nen in some way. Are they the result of a nen curse or organisms that can use nen. This also kinda got me thinking about the chimera ants as well. I guess they aren't considered a calamity but are they really just a naturally evolved species from the dark continent? Could their ability to reproduce from eating also be the result of some sort of nen shenanigans? I know that's a lot of questions and we just don't really know yet but I'm just curious would other people think..

Hypothetically if one day extreme/awesome got a from scratch reboot and we got a similar treatment to transformers/GI Joe in skybound who would you want involved. For example I would want Kurt Busiek brought in as show runner, Al Ewing on Glory, Joshua williamson on youngblood, Jeff lemire on Prophet, Cullen Bunn on the Coven, Tim Seeley back on bloodstrike, and Joe Casey on Brigade. For artists I would want Ryan Ottley, Bryan Hitch, David Fitch, Steve mcniven, and JG Jones. What does everybody else think?? Any other titles you would want to hypothetically see in a rebooted extreme universe?

im really confused about this whole operative alpha thing. im guessing this is also because the series never finished but I read a collection that was put together with the bloodstrike issues and some brigade issues. So. it starts with Cabbot having to come in and rescue a deadpool looking dude called operative alpha. Without spoiling too much project born again betrays Cabbot and sends in bloodwulf to kill both of them. We then shift to brigade with battle stone time traveling where operative alpha and bloodwulf teleport in and attack him. We don't see what happened to Cabbot. So Battlestone is fighting them and his inner thoughts are like "this is my brother Cabbot." and operative alpha is like "yeah, I hate my brother Battlestone." uhhh.... what?? but Cabbot and operative alpha were fighting each other. Are they the same dude? what's going on?

I've been recently going back and reading a number of the extreme and Alan Moore's awesome reboot. I've caught up with Rob's current series and am now finally reading Alan Moore's Glory. I think next I'll probably check out Tim Seeley's Bloodstrike. I gotta say I really love this group of characters and I see so much potential in them. it's just so frustrating seeing all the stops of goes the universe has been through because of various factors. Given the success of the massive verse, Kirkman's Skybound and Geoff John's Unnamed universe, it seems like now is the perfect time for a massive push. With marvel losing a ton of readers, it seems like fans really want an alternative. While I'm very excited for Rob's current series I can't help but think about the future. What if we are headed towards a complete extreme/awesome reboot? id love to see writers like Joshua williamson, Jeff lemire, and Al Ewing take a crack at it. What series would people wanna see? If we do get a reboot what would you want it to be like?
