Just curious. Do male cats ever outgrow the “sin biscuit “ phase?

I’ve been woken up in the middle of the night several times a week (for a while now) to mine sin biscuit-ing my leg. Is this something I’m just going to have to accept or will he grow out of it. He’s 19 months old.
