‘Ello, Adventurers. I have a task and a small pouch of gold for anyone who can help me map out our new existence.
Things changed rapidly after the apocalypse of 2020. Entire nations terraformed. Giant semi-sentient forests dominating entire landscapes from sea to sea where there was none originally. Conflicting, yet stable environments where obsidian and magma meet a frost not seen anywhere but the highest peaks.
Many were lost. Roughly half the population of the world, human or otherwise. But most did not “die”. No. They were altered.
Some, husks of flesh wearing their souls on the outside seeking the souls of the living to regain any semblance of life. Their wailing can be heard for miles throughout the Pacific Northwest. It’s no longer the Puget Sound, it’s the Sound of Sombering.
Some, organized cannibals, growing bigger stronger, more grotesque with each kill. Destroying farmers markets and cabbage stalls for funsies!
One eyed deer with the stillness of shadow that will show you the future as long as you make eye contact. Beware, vegetation is not the only thing they feast upon.
Cows with super speed.
Earth was subjected to a magical pandemic.
**The continents are familiar, but this world isn't.**
Every nation has become a kingdom, every city a dungeon, every landmark a legendary location.
Welcome to Earth... 6 years, 7 months, 13 days after magic returned.
Help me answer the questions like:
What has your hometown become?
Which modern cities would evolve into capitals of mighty kingdoms?
Where would dragons nest?
Which abandoned malls become lich fortresses?
If our modern methods of travel and communication no longer operate on electricity alone, what would we need and where would we go to communicate across oceans again? The George Washington monument-atelier controlled by the Jan. 6th insurrectionists, now calling themselves the last true heirs, who discovered they could cast supersonic fireballs the size of sedans from their enchanted AR-15’s?
Perhaps Area 51 where the mind flayers have broken containment after 150 years, and are utilizing the technology of other races imprisoned there as a way to get their revenge and blow the planet up?
**TLDR -** Earth needs new maps and it’s our job to understand what it looks like on a local, regional, global level after a magical pandemic in the modern world. For your safety, as well as everyone else’s.

Hey everyone. Like the title says, looking to restart a superhero side story for an anthology series. Anyone with a similar art style who is not opposed to a bit of gore is encouraged and preferred.
Budget is ~1000 USD, but might be able to do an exchange of work as well if you’re an artist and have a story you’re trying to write.

Hey everyone,
I’m a creative who has developed an original IP. I’m looking to legally secure it so that vultures can’t backdoor me and potentially take away my hard work. I’m sure you can imagine what it would be like to work on a project for 10 years, to then present it various ways for “funding” only for everyone to deny you and then suddenly your idea pop up outta nowhere or something ODDLY similar.
I’d like to avoid that altogether as best I can and am asking anyone with an entertainment or creative background how they secured their art. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
