I am very worried about the LAPTOP to purchase . I am going to buy one for all 4 years for my journey at LUMS SSE . I have gathered the money with too much difficulty for a good laptop to purchase my budget is 80 -1 lac for all 4 years . So everyone and specifically seniors please guide me that which laptops should I purchase that I will not regret buying . Should I wait for classes to start and see the students having different laptops then buy or I should buy before . And I personally want to buy M1 air 8gb 256gb bcz it lies in this price range . But shopkeepers say that you will have to purchase so many paid software and repairing cost is extremely high . So what are your opinions , rejections and recommendations . Kindly assist me also buy telling AI and other software tools and courses used in SSE .

2 )hp or dell core i 5 11th generation

What is the estimated daily usage of Laptops at LUMS and to which extent ? Will it be normal or heavy task to be performed by laptop ? I want to buy but I am a bit confused so I also wanted to ask you guys that which models of Laptops do you have ?
