Hal Jordan appreciation train

Hey everyone. So, I just finished watching Lanterns, and let's just say I'd like to celebrate Hal Jordan's history and stories. If anyone is reading this post, please share a moment from Hal's adventures that resonated with you!

I'll start with the picture in this post, the cover of Green Lantern Secret Files and Origins (2005) from Johns' run, this image is what got me into Green Lantern. Hal looked so silly and campy, but somehow still heroic and classical. Then the guy turns out to be confidence personified. I still consider the peak of the Sinestro Corps war being the entire Coast City lighting up in green as one of the best comic books moments ever.

Funny enough, I was hooked pretty much from the get go on Rebirth, I didn't understand a lot of the background, but the emotional beats of the book hit me soo hard. I was roughly 15 back then, and I was struggling with a situation where fear made me froze, but after becoming a Green Lantern fan, I was much more aware of the concept of will, and it truly shaped me into who I am today.

Please share your experiences! Let's show Highball he matters.

I'm Bloodborne curious, but have some questions

I've already played the game on a ps4 a few years ago. Almost a masterpiece but the things I mainly had an issue with where loading times and fps.

My first question relates to the loading time, Is the situation better with shadps4? It was kind of a drag in the original.

The second question is about my setup, I have a laptop with 3 GB of vram, would that be enough to run at 60fps at any resolution at all? I'm ok with using some mods to make the game uglier if needed as well.

Thanks!

Is this ok? A rant about grinding

Let me preface this by saying that I love the game. I had always heard of FFT as a milestone in gaming, and earlier this year I gave it a good try for sure. My previous "tactics" game was Advanced War and I already held it as a perfect game, I was scared of FFT not being as good. Suffice to say that I would rate it as a master piece as well!

Now the root of my issue, I got to chapter 4 a few months ago, I specifically remember getting the nice unlockable characters, I have Reis, Beowulf and Orlandu. However, they came to my team as little more than newborn babies.

I ALREADY HAD A GREAT TEAM OF "RANDOMS". My big complain is that I'm always chasing the "best" build, and I've spent the entire time building up my randoms, they have been with me through thick and thin. But as a meta slave I want to level/condition the new kids on the block.

I actually soft dropped the game, because my goal would be to have Reis as a Calculator, but it has taken me the entire game so far to barely have a random being capable of using the mathematical spellcasting. And I don't like grinding, I hate it with passion as I have a backlog of other games to play.

So I was on rough place, I think I could beat the game as it is, but then I'd miss out on the power of the named characters. Or I could build the main characters up, but grinding is my kryptonite, as in it kills me slowly and painfully.

This past week I came across a solution! I'm playing on Duckstation, and found a cheat called "Job points don't go down", it will dramatically cut the grinding to almost zero. At this point I think I'll beat the game with my randoms, without going for any fancy build. Then reload to this point and build the named characters' team with the help of the cheat code. Is this considered ethical on this community?

TLDR: Should a player be allowed to cheat to avoid grinding? Or should you suffer the squeeze in order to drink the juice?
