Some of my favorite war metal especially the early shit borrows from grindcore. Sorry, no points for the super obvious shtuff like Conqueror and ASM. Although my favorite parts from ASM's tunes are the mosh-friendly two-step parts, they know what they're doing. Revenge are the masters at those abrupt tempo switch-ups to something groovy and doomy. Almost more sinister for being rare moments of coherency bookended by all the chaotic noise.

And if there's the odd fill to like, 'invoke' the appropriate sections here and there that would be even more sick, but I understand that's a bit of a tall ask.
