Hello everyone,
I’m a U.S. military veteran with an inactive TS/SCI security clearance. I currently hold the Security+, CCNA, and CySA+ certifications and am completing my bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.
My primary career goal is to work in offensive security, with a strong focus on red teaming and penetration testing.
I recently earned the Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (CPTS) certification from Hack The Box, and my next milestone is obtaining the OSCP within the next six months. I’m always looking to learn, improve my skills, and connect with others in the offensive security community.

Hey everyone, this is my first time here. I completed my FAFSA for 2024-25, and everything looked fine, but after submitting the 20-2027 form, my SAI increased to 8862.
Can someone tell me who I should contact to fix this?

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone in this group who supported me during my divorce. Your advice, encouragement, and shared experiences meant more than you probably realize.
To anyone currently going through a divorce, I truly hope the pain fades as quickly as possible and that you’re able to heal completely. It takes time, but life really can get better.
I’ll be leaving this group because, for me, it’s become difficult to keep reading stories about marriages ending. As a man, my divorce was one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever been through. After years together, having someone tell you they’ve fallen out of love changes you. Reading similar stories every day keeps bringing those emotions back.
If you’re a man, my advice is to think very carefully before getting married. This is just my personal opinion based on my own experience. There are plenty of amazing women in the world, and you don’t necessarily need marriage to have a happy and fulfilling relationship.
About a year ago, my ex started acting in ways I never expected, and although it hurt at the time, I can honestly say that this divorce ended up changing my life for the better. I’m in a much better place now, and I hope anyone going through this eventually reaches that point too.
I wish all of you strength, healing, and happiness. Thank you again for everything, and I genuinely hope the best for each of you.

Hey, I finished and submitted my exam yesterday. I passed technically, but I'm still waiting on the results. With CPTs, OSCP, and CRTO certifications, is it possible to enter offensive cybersecurity without experience in pen testing?

Hey guys, I’ll be taking my CPTS in July. I plan to take the OSCP 90 days afterward, followed by the CRTO. Is the CRTO easier or harder than the CPTS?
