Exoplanet systems in Solarballs (Part 2)
(Ignore the one who is screaming)

(Ignore the one who is screaming)
Basically how much you guys want this exoplanet to appear in solarballs. This is part 1 out of 65! (If you dont know the exoplanet you can search it)
(I do not have patreon meaning i do not know about anything beyond episode 2 of the moon killer, this is pure specualtion)
At the moment it SEEMS like Ceres or Titan might be the moon killer as a lot of people have speculated, but what if the real killer is someone who has stayed the most silent about it? Tethys...
First ill go over why i dont think its the others. I dont think its Ceres because the diary was changed when Ceres had it (you can see bite marks) and Ceres also said "Did you drop something?" Implying that Ceres found it on SOMEONE...not to mention Ceres isnt even close to Saturn so how would it be possible for him to kill Crysallis? Even though Ceres looks hella sus, I dont think its him and its just...Ceres being Ceres. I also dont think its any of Saturn's other moons because Titan, Rhea, Mimas, Iapetus, Encladus, etc. All wrote there names (or at least I assume so since they didnt leave the group) and finding out the mystery by just that would be *too* simple, the real moon killer should be someone more hidden...Tethys was Saturn's only major moon that LIKELY hasnt written his name since he went to go get Luna, Phobos and Deimos.
This leads me to think, why could it be Tethys? Reason one is because as mentioned in the above paragraph, it simply doesn't fit the other characters to be the moon killer nearly as well. Reason two is because Tethys is way too quiet untill now, even Rhea (who rarely shows up) got way more screentime, untill the second-to last episode where Tethys suddenly played a big role, a big switch up like that implies something is going on. Reason three is because Tethys has had the least character development out of all of Saturn's moons (unlike Titan for example who led the moon revolution) so there is a chance the Crysallis arc MIGHT finally, finally lead to some development.
Even though it may seem obvious its Ceres or Titan, under the surface a killer is usually silent and very good at hiding evidence, so I strongly suspect its Tethys. On August 15th I will either SOMEHOW predict it or sound like an idiot LOL.
What do y'all think about the theory?
I dont know what the community is like outside of Youtube, Tiktok or reddit (I dont use other social medias) so the reality can change a lot.
Honestly speaking im enjoying this community so far, at least compared to large sub reddits. Creativity is great for one, the comics are an abseloutle cinema and the fanon is pretty great as well. Seeing how the sub-reddit reacts after every new Solarballs episode is...intresting to say the least, especially on the ones who rate the episodes. On some other sub reddits, especially big ones, I got accused of random stuff (I was accused of being "transphobic" on a post that was ONLY about Planet 9 btw 💔) which yeah is definitely not my cup of tea.
Having a section for criticism is a bold move but appreciated because well, freedom of speech right? And ill talk about that as well because there are some parts I dont agree with of course. For one i dont think the crysallis arc is nearly AS bad as the community here represents it, i see potential for chatacter development despite flaws. Even then though, everyone has different opinions sooo.
Overall id say this is a pretty healthy community so far, at least from my experience, even if disagreements exist. If you have something to add then feel free.
Option 1: All spherical objects (planets, other moons, dwarf planets) will get deleted. Only the earth, moon and sun remain, and non spherical objects (trillions of asteroids) also remain.
Option 2: Only the moon gets deleted. All other planets, moons and dwarf planets will stay, even the sun, but NOT our moon.
Which Option do you choose?
Behold, Alpha Centauri Ab. A JWST canidate captured by direct imaging that was reported last year in 2025!
The exoplanet is technically a canidate because it was successfully detected a few times (in 2021 and in 2024) Though in 2025 it just dissapeared...the reason why is likely because it got too close to Rigil's blinding glare so we couldn't see it. Even though the planet itself almost certianly exists (we have detected it multiple times and its consistent with orbital motion) we cannot confidentially confirm it....UNTIL NOW. This month in August 2026, a follow up observation is expected to happen since it SHOULD re-emerge from the star's glare now, specifically around August 15 2026 (±1 week). So by the end of this month we will know if our buddy Rigil has a gas planet in tha habitable zone.
(PLEASE BE REAL I DONT WANT THIS GUY TO BE ALONE-)
I'll be honest, I was NOT expecting the dwarf planets to show up in the Crysallis arc but im not complaining because id like to see more of Sedna, we haven't seen her since the rouge planet arc ended! Though I would have liked to see the other dwarf planets too and at this point, are we EVER going to see another dwarf moon besides Charon (its been like 3 years since we first saw Charon cmon nowww). I also do think that besides the diary, there isnt really anything that good about the episode, at least compared to other arcs so this episode was PRETTY mid in my opinion. Also she is so smol even compared to Triton and Titania its kinda funny lol, I kind of imagine her being the same excact size as Crysallis too. What do y'all think?
If you thought the sun was bad just look at this one lol
We all know The Sun and Alpha Centauri will BE in the next arc of solarballs but what about the other stars? There are a few in our close neighbourhood that would fit for the show.
- There is Barnard's star which is also pretty close and has 4 planets (but all 4 are wastelands as proven by recent data...) and its the closest star not in a binary system to us. This is my personal favourite pick.
- There is Pollux which is the closest red giant and has a confirmed exoplanet bigger than Jupiter (would fit since we already saw Arcuturus in the show) this would be my favourite pick since its a famous star but the distance (34 light years) is a bit long
- There is also Sirius. While the star system has no planets (sadly :[ ) it hosts the closest white dwarf to us and the brightest star in the night sky. This is also a pretty good pick but knowing solarballs they would prioritise stars with planets probably.
I know too much about exoplanets and honestly, I really want to see some of them in solarballs. The only exoplanets we have seen so far are rouge planets, but exoplanets orbiting stars are the real intrest around here. We may not have exoplanets in solarballs YET, but in the meantime you can try describing one and ill try to name it. Feel free.
(Don't ask how they travelled 34 light years but they did and now they get to see Pollux and its planet Thestias)
Time for some headcanon because im bored, how would an Alpha Centauri arc work in solarballs? We have already seen hints of this happening (we saw Proxima Centauri in The solar system is back, and the 3 stars in the big bang part 1) so realistically it is the only major arc that can happen when including foreshadowing, hints or just random stuff that happens in Solarballs.
A theoratical way how the plot would go down: Proxima has 2 confirmed planets in real life, Rigil has 1 strong canidate planet by JWST...and Toliman has ZERO planets (There is also Proxima c but its existence is very doubtful so we will exclude it) Lets assume we include Proxima b, Proxima d and Alpha Centauri Ab.
A perfect opportunity to make a plot (and what i headcannon) IS where Toliman does NOT like being the only planet out of the 3 with no planets, how does Proxima have 2 rocks, Rigil has a big one and Toliman has nothing? On the other side, thanks to Proxima glancing at the solar system (as seen in the solar system is back) Proxima goes to talk to them and Toliman discovers....the sun is right there....the same star he bullied 4.5 Billion years ago....AND IT HAS 8 PLANETS? The "loser" has 8 and Toliman has none? Why??
While Toliman and Proxima are talking about how the sun has 8 planets and Toliman has none, SIMP-0136, the leader of the rouge planets randomly stems into the Alpha Centauri system while trying to get more planets into the Kingdom, still scarred from the battle against the sun. She goes to get Rigil's planet, Rigil of course says no because...why would you just lose your planet like that?
But since the rouges have been watching everyone for billions of years canonically and they JUST lost to the sun, she knows Rigil and Toliman bullied the sun billions of years ago. So she twists the truth about the sun's behaviour to Rigil and leaves to get her "revenge" on the sun by making the sun seem like a horrible star to his planets. Rigil belives it and goes to tell Toliman and Proxima more about the sun (or at least what SIMP told him) and thats where the real fun beings. Toliman now has many valid reasons to break into the solar system and steal 1 of 8 planets....or so he thinks...the rest of the arc i haven't headcanoned but there are many ways it could go down.
(This is headcanon, the actual storyline will almost certianly be different. Don't take this too seriously, besides some shit I made up for fun!)
We recently saw at the end of the previous episode that other stars WILL play a significant role in the arc (first time in solarballs!). Proxima Centauri was shown briefly which confirms, the 3 stars in Alpha Centauri will be included.
A question to consider: WILL the exoplanets be in the arc itself? We know solarballs likes to use real planets (or hypothetical ones like X and Theia) as seen in the solar system and rouge planets. So lets look at the real exoplanets:
Confirmed exoplanets: Proxima Centauri b (Confirmed in 2016) and Proxima Centauri d (Confirmed in 2022), both have been confirmed to exist before solarballs took off and are well documented, Proxima b is especially intresting since it orbits in the habitable zone and recent studies have shown its likely to have a substantial magnetic field which supports habitability.
Unconfirmed exoplanets: Proxima Centauri c and Rigil Kentaurus b (S1 Canidate). Both are canidate exoplanets that have not been confirmed or refuted, its likely the exoplanet Rigil Kentaurus b exists but its signal wasnt recovered in 2025 since it got too close to its star, when it re-emerges (expected in August this year) its signal SHOULD come back which would confirm the planet's existence. Proxima c on the other hand likely doesnt exist as the speculated 2020 planet but could exist as a small planet.
(Note: You might have heard of Toliman b but that planet was completley debunked in 2015, so no chance its showing up lol)
Do you think there planets will be IN the arc? Personally I think the confirmed ones will definitely show up, very likely Rigil Kentaurus b will show up and a 50/50 chance (depending whether solarballs decides to use hypothetical planets again) for Proxima c to show up.
We have seen X, WISE, the solar system survivors and OGLE question the whole rouge planet kingdom thing in the past 3 episodes or so. The next episode is titled "sun vs rouge planets" as posted by Solarballs.
Here is one thing to wander, even if the sun goes against the rouges and battles with them.....how will the sun FIND the planets? They have split up at this point and they are drifting further away, I feel like they will be light years away by the time the sun wins or loses the battle against the rouge planets. What do you all think will happen to the solar planets now? Will the sun SOMEHOW find them or will they drift in space for a while? Drop your theories!
This is honestly the WORST way I have ever seen a pet go in my life and it happened to me. I WOULD not wish on anyone for this to happen, and tbh I didnt even know a cat could die this fast...untill it happened to me 3 years ago.
In July 2023, Luna (my cat's name) got, what i called a sickness at the time, that made her not able to use her legs and could only use hands to move around. When she first had this, she had to do almost everything assisted since she could only crawl with her front hands, eating? Fed with a syringe, walking? Crawl or pick-up, using the toilet? Couldnt hold it in at all.
Of course like any normal person would do, she was taken to the vet quickly by me and my parents who lived with me, so when we took her to the vet, we got bad news and good news. The bad news is that we found out at the vet that it was a blood clot, usually blood clots are fatal for cats but the good news is that since the blood clot only blocked her legs, it meant that she was almost guranteed to survive since the blood clot blocked 2 of her limbs, vital organs had normal blood flow, the only major effect was moving around since she now had to crawl with her hands to go around. That being said, the blood clot was not good news but me personally I was very grateful that the Blood clot was in her legs instead of a place like an organ since Blood clots in animals are usually fatal, but since it didn't hit any organs she didn't have any risk of dying. The vet told us that on average its quite uncommon that a cat with a blood clot survives, but since the clot happened in her legs survival is much more likely.
As a result, over the course of 2 months we were taking her to the vet every other day, we slowly made her heal more and more since she still had years to live and she almost made a full recovery, she started eating again, she adapted to crawl and she started using the litter again. Once we spotted Luna using her legs again for the first time after 2 months in September of 2023 so we went to the vet to check it out, that day when we were at the vet after 2 months of recovery, the vet made a scan of Luna's body and the vet concluded that she will be fully recovered in just a few weeks, which of course was very good news! The vet also said that the Blood clot in her legs was dissolving at a fast pace and blood flow was expected to return, which also explained why we saw her almost walking around this time and was having more control over her body.
And coincidentally, the day that we got the BEST news possible ("She is literally healing") was also the same day she died. We took her to the vet maybe 7am, then had a normal day with a recovering Luna, but maybe 20 hours after the vet said that......I just saw her dead on the kitchen floor...my parents found her dead first on the kitchen floor at 2am. Im not talking passed out or a collapse, literally a completley dead body leaking saliva and blood, having no heartbeat or breathing. Like WHAT and HOW? Is it even POSSIBLE for a disease to start and spread to fatal levels in 20 hours?.....even if she hid the sickness (like cats do due to survival insticts) i feel like we should have seen something very bad in the scan if she had less than 24 hours left! Also before I slept at 10pm, Luna was still fine so I can even debatabley narrow it down to 4 hours. And before you ask, I am NOT sure if it was because of the blood clot because it was in her legs, it didnt block any major organs, meaning it had to be something else that was either related indirectly or completely different.
Regardless of what happened, a tragic death...is still a tragic death, she was taken that afternoon to apply for crementation, at the place the vets had concluded that Luna had a heart attack which triggered sudden cardiac arrest, BUT they couldnt find what caused it all because all the tests said she was recovering, not deterioating.
And the same vet who made her last appointment looked shocked when he found out she died overnight, he was like "In my years ive seen pets die in a week after having good news, but a DAY? Thats highly unprecedented". And to this day I do not know what was the cause for this fatal heart attack, the vets probably found out the reason eventually but my parents never went to the same clinic again since then so I didnt ever get to know the final results.
Currently it has been nearly 3 years since this happened and I STILL do not understand what happened....and before you ask she wasnt old either (only 5 years old, about 1/3rd the lifespan of a cat) so it definitely wasnt age related issues. Infact she should be turning 8 years old today, so technically speaking...Luna should not be dead right now. Literally.
If you have any questions to ask, feel free. If you know medicine and you might have an idea what happened, also feel free. If you just feel sorry for me, also feel free. Any comment will help with this, even though i have largley moved on since then.
