Wondering how you all keep the hair out of your tzu’s eyes? We are letting Contessa be a little shaggy and may start putting a bow in her hair, but it’s not long enough yet. We comb her nearly daily but can’t seem to get her hair trained around her eyes.

She just turned 9 months old.
Any tips for us?

Our Contessa is approaching 10 months and still has her puppy floof. When I comb her, there’s a very soft downy hair that accumulates in the combs and brushes.

I’m assuming this goes away and her hair will get a little coarser (and theoretically easier to maintain?)

If so, around what age do most of them transform into their permanent coat?
