Has anyone made the butterfly cardigan? Do I trust the process? It's looks small but I'm using a hook .25 larger than the recommended.

Hi y'all! I'm crushing the butterfly cardigan and it's looking like it will end up being too small! I'm using the large graph and I'm using a 5.25 mm hook. The pattern recommends using a 5 mm hook but I wanted to ensure that it would be large so I went up the hook size. I was wondering if anybody else had an issue where they thought the cardigan was going to be smaller until they finished it and blocked it and realized it was much bigger. I'm worried that after blocking this will still be too small. I'm debating on frogging it and starting over with a 5.5 mm hook. Thoughts?

Has anyone lost enough weight that you didn't need your CPAP anymore?

I HATE my CPAP, it's so annoying in every capacity. I know my sleep apnea is weight related because I used to snore like a freight train and then I lost 25lbs and barely snore. My API is 5.3 without the CPAP and it's 0.9 on a bad night with the CPAP.

My question is has anyone successfully lost enough weight to where their CPAP wasnt needed anymore? I hate this thing so much no matter how much or how little it's doing to improve my sleep. I want it gone and the cheapest way is to lose weight. Help

Weaning off went wrong? how do I fix / mitigate the withdrawal symptoms?

Hi! I was recently given the OK to wean off of 50mg of Zoloft. I've been on it since the end of 2020, when I started at 150mg. My doctor told me to take half a pill for a little bit, but if I wasn't feeling any symptoms, I could just cold turkey it. I took half a pill for 3 days, and I didn't notice anything, and then I went cold turkey, and now I'm all sorts of messed up (completely my fault). It's nothing I can't handle, like stomach issues and increased drowsiness, butttt the dizziness is going to drive me crazy! its not too bad but its been about a week since going cold turkey, and I just want to know if anyone had any tips on how to help? Or any ideas on how long this will last?

How to fix a squeaky metal crochet hook? It is driving me nuts!

Hi! I know many people have struggled with a squeaky hook, but all I can seem to find on how to manage it is to rub the hook in your hair (LOL). How do y'all go about fixing this issue? TIA

Super small bugs (?) found in bathroom??

noticed these really really tiny bugs on our master bathroom toilet seat. There's some on the walls but more noticeable on the seat. What is it?! They're only in this one bathroom in the house. We have an exhaust fan right above the seat that is directly connected to the outside if that helps identify anything!

Septum ring and nasal mask?

I have the Phillips dream wear nasal mask and it is working really well so far. However, I have a full circle septum ring in and it kind of hurts when I wake up. The technician didn't tell me that I might have a problem with my septum hurting until I had already finished the appointment. I need advice on how to make it not hurt. Unfortunately the septum ring can't come out, it was pierced weird and if I take the ring out it won't go back in :/

Making a high contrast baby book for a friend. Need to know if I should sew the appliques on or hot glue them!

I plan on adding appliques to the front and back of each payment but I've realized they won't cover each other's stitches with certain designs. This is for a friend's baby shower and I want to make sure I'm doing everything good for this to be used for a while! TIA

How do you price your random commissions? (Crochet)

I've been on a hexi cardigan crochet kick and I made one for my boyfriend. One of his coworkers really wants one and says he's willing to pay but I have no idea how to price it! I know some people do (price of supplies + minimum wage*hours worked) but that would roughly come out to $230 and I feel like that's a lot to charge for something I made (even though I wouldn't hesitate to agree with another fiber artists pricing). How do y'all gauge your pricing?

What do yku do to keep your nose clear?

This might seem redundant but I have a nasal mask (not the pillows) and with summer in the way my nose isn't staying clear. I blow my nose as much as I can before bed but there's always some blockage I can't get out. I'm worried this is affecting my CPAP experience. How do you handle this? I really don't want to have to get a full face mask.

I have a concern about my breast and I'm not sure who to see for it.

Hi! I have a bump ish lump ish thing that keeps showing up on my breast. I got a breast reduction 9ish months ago and the bump shows up along the scar line, the first time it showed up my surgeon said it wasn't anything to worry about but now it gets inflamed and reappears every once in a while. I asked the reduction subreddit and they said I should get it checked out by either a gynecologist or a dermatologist so I was wondering what y'all thought. The lump isn't hard but does get red-ish and warm but goes away in a few days.

How should I go about cleaning my CPAP machine and accessories?

I just got my CPAP a week ago and am confused on how to clean it. I wasn't given much instruction on what/how to clean stuff besides "was the nasal piece every couple of days and rinse and dry the hose" but is there anything else I need to be doing? Do I clean the whole mask?? TIA

How imperative is it that I change my water every night?

I'm still getting adjusted to my CPAP and it's humidity settings. I've only had it for 5 days but I've noticed my machine doesn't use that much water, barely a 5th of the tank on a 3/5 humidity level for around 6 hours. Should I really be changing the water every day? I literally only ask because I'm so tired and don't want to get out of bed to do it LOL

Do you use your CPAP for day time naps?

As you can tell, I'm a fairly new CPAP user. I (24F) just got my Luna G3 machine about 5 days ago. I am obviously not fully accustomed to it yet and still get tired during the day as it hasn't even been a full week and I was wondering if you guys use your CPAP machine while you take naps? I've been in a constant need for naps at least once a day for the past couple of years and I hope this habit will be kicked with the CPAP LOL
