22M - longterm friends! relaxed vc/gaming and random chats

heyo, my adhd is going to make me retype this 7000 times but oh well, I'm a laid back university student in Canada taking online courses and I'm basically home all day looking for some new people to talk to!

big gamer, currently into overwatch, tft/league, balatro. love all kinds of music but indie alt emo rock and pop are the favourites. love watching movies and binge watching tv shows while doing my studying during the day and night!

im pretty shy but very outgoing once I get comfortable, I'd love to find a few people to bounce off of, maybe hold my procrastination brain accountable every now and then. im the type of person that will go down serveral rabbit holes to help you if you bring up a question or problem you're having!

say hi and tell me a bit about yourself, ask a question, or say something absurd lol! bonus points if youd want to play a game (doesnt have to be the ones ive listed, i play a lot more lol) or watch some shows some time, trying to get into anime and would love some recomendations, scfi, thrillers, adventure, crime, dramas i think are my favourite genres

M22 (PC) - Looking for freinds for game nights, movies nights/binge watching.

Hey! I’m 22M and currently taking university courses online, so I’ve usually got a lot of free time during the day and at night.

I used to have a few people I’d hang out with pretty much daily where we’d sit in calls, stream random games or videos to each other, watch movies/shows, listen to music, or just chill while doing our own thing. Figured I’d try meeting more people like that again.

I’m pretty introverted at first and usually type more than I talk in VC, but I warm up once I’m comfortable. I’m definitely more of a listener though. I like hearing about people’s days, listening to random stories/problems, helping people figure stuff out, or falling into random rabbit holes for hours. Especially computer/tech related stuff (CompSci).

Most of my time goes into gaming, music, movies/shows, gym stuff, and studying. Lately I’ve been playing TFT, League, Overwatch, Minecraft, Phasmophobia, roguelites, and random co-op/shooter games, but I’m usually down to try almost anything.

Music wise I mostly listen to indie, alt-pop, and rock, but my playlists are honestly all over the place. Same with movies and shows. I’ll watch pretty much anything if it’s good, GoT, Harry Potter, The Rookie, Grey's, Star Wars, Marvel, any of the Christopher Nolan movies!

Anyways enough with the advertisement! Feel free to message me if you think we have something in common, want someone to game with, or watch someone play games and go on binge sessions with come say hi!

YES YOU. You’re exactly the kind of person I’m looking for.

I’ve always been pretty shy and found it hard to make friends or reach out to people first. I overthink messages, sit there wondering if I’m being annoying, and sometimes spend way too long trying to convince myself to join a VC or ask someone to play something. Honestly, I usually stick to text chat a lot at first until I get comfortable enough to talk more, so if you’re the same way, you definitely won’t be judged!

I've been wanting to find some new friends who are overal just chill people to share the days with. Casual games (sometimes ranked), movie nights, random late night chats, sending dumb memes, or even just quietly hanging out in VC while we do our own thing or just listening to music! I know it can be hard to reach out when you're shy or anxious, so there’s absolutely no pressure to be super outgoing or talk all the time. You don’t have to be amazing at conversations or instantly click right away either. I’m also the type of person who will always respond if you have questions, concerns, problems, random invites, or just want someone to talk to. I really try my best to make people feel included and comfortable instead of ignored or left out.

I'm currently taking university courses online, so I'm pretty much around all the time. You don't have to be into the same games or things as me to say hi, but I'm really into Overwatch, League, Minecraft, random friend slops, party games (Codenames, Jackbox, board games), roguelikes, Path of Exile, and way too many more to list or even remember. My music taste changes every other month, but right now it's mostly indie/alt rock and pop! Movie wise, I honestly don't really pick favourites. I watch a ton of movies and usually have shows playing in the background, so I'll almost never say no to watching something. Some stuff I like includes Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Christopher Nolan movies, Arcane, The Rookie, and The Hunger Games.

Anyways, if any of this sounds like your kind of vibe, or you just need a new person to talk to/play games with, come say hi!
