Current backyard bloomings!

Hi all,

I recently returned to my home in Southern California and look at these gorgeous treats! Each plant is like looking at a different painting!

Have a beautiful day everyone!

Long Covid and increased sensitization to medications.

Hi all,

I’ve been on lisdexamfetamine and bupropion for years for adhd.
I’ve had covid twice but the one that did me in was in April 2025.
I’m thinking of asking my doc (who is awesome and supportive of my LC/incredible) if I can try tapering down a bit on these meds as I believe covid truly fried my autonomic nervous system.

Now I feel unwell after a couple of hours of taking them whereas I never did pre-covid. I feel overly stimmed. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? A new sensitivity to meds you’d been on for years prior to COVID infection?

Flare triggered by bodywork/osteopathy

Hi all,

I have dysautonomia which was exacerbated by Long Covid, as well as CFS/ME.

I had some gentle bodywork from an osteopath done yesterday. Nothing too crazy but they did a lot of work with my spine and the ligaments and muscles around it. I gave them the heads up about my Dysautonomia and the other conditions. I trust them entirely. However I think it really triggered a flare.

Last night I had massive internal tremors, insomnia. This morning I have a lot of emotional lability, massive PEM, lots of air hunger, tachycardia, tinnitus.

Have any of you experienced a flare like this or similar following bodywork? Not even deep tissue work but more gentle bodywork? I want to keep going with it for future sessions but I'm afraid of what might happen afterwards.

Thank you for whatever you can suggest/advise.
