Appreciation For [Leviathan] at [Canadas Wonderland]

Appreciation For [Leviathan] at [Canadas Wonderland]

A coaster that doesn’t get enough attention because it’s overshadowed by other similar rides.

I don’t know, maybe I just enjoyed this ride more than most people do, but I still consider it a 10/10. Despite being on the shorter side the elements hit and I have it just below Fury 325 in my overall rankings.

What are some other exceptional rides that get overshadowed?

Last year, I went to Mt. Olympus when there was a chance of rain. Not a big deal since the morning looked to have clear skies.

Ran straight to Hades 360 at park opening and got up to the station when the ride went down for rain. After 30min of waiting, the rain stopped and we finally got on.

Literally, while we were going up the lift hill there was a loud crack of thunder. Then once again, it started to rain. We were in the rain for maybe 5 seconds before we went down the first drop, into the tunnel underneath the parking lot.

Then came one of the wildest moments I’ve had on a roller coaster…

We came out of the tunnel and felt hail falling down on us before going into that inversion. We rode the rest of that ride getting pelted with hail.

It was amazing.
