Way to Revive James for a Sequel

Imagine Andross has been keeping him prisoner, but Star Fox's attack on Venom gave James the opportunity to escape and reach a holo flight deck. There he pilots a holo airwing to help Fox get out, but gets recaptured himself at the end (yanked out of the chair at the moment his airwing disappears). A sacrifice to save his son.

Theoretically, SF2 could then deal with rescuing James from Andross or his replacement. Of course, Andross implies he killed James but that could just be to rile Fox up, technically we never see a body.

Having said that, it would change a lot of Fox's core character traits if his dad was actually still alive, so I'm not sure it's the best idea. But there might be a way to make it work. Any thoughts?

For the record, it's just idle speculation for fun. I know it probably won't happen, but it's fun to discuss.

Optimism for the 30th

I'm sure this info has already been raised often, but I think it's worth restating there's a LOT of reasons to be optimistic about the NASA meeting on the 30th. This is the event description:

>NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman will host a virtual conversation at 2:30 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, June 30, to share updates to NASA’s plans to build a Moon Base on the lunar surface.

>Administrator Isaacman and Carlos García-Galán, Moon Base program manager, will discuss the next set of awards for new lunar lander missions and preview upcoming opportunities as the agency works toward building a sustained presence on the Moon.

Now, looking up Carlos, and his linkedin, you find details of his trip to IM two weeks ago, and his post which says:

>Very impressive visit to Intuitive Machines in Houston. Currently building Landers, Comms, Satellites and maybe more for NASA's Moon Base.

So, clearly there's something brewing. To what extent the 30th will be "sell the news" (if it even gives us any) I can't say, but I know that I'm happy with the company's overall direction and I will continue accumulating at these prices.

Something that always made me mildly curious

In the episode where Frasier composes the radio show theme song, he offers "a simple bow of thanks to the muse Calliope", Calliope being the muse who handles eloquence and epic poetry. Now, epic poetry could (very loosely) apply to the lyrics of the song, but I'm curious why Frasier would not have simply offered thanks to the muse Euterpe, who presides over music itself. Possibly it's just because Calliope's name is more known and rolls off the tongue better? Or maybe it's something about Frasier never being quite as knowledgeable about artistic culture as he presents himself to be.

Anyway, "one tiny flaw that we can pick at all evening", yada yada. Unless anyone has a better explanation?
