First off, she looks fucking adorable in this picture (no goon like genuinely really pretty) she also played one of the most easily hated characters and managed to have fun with the role and her performance in her finale episode was a genuine masterpiece and almost makes you forget how terrible the character is

Side note: Firecracker is depicted as being in her mid 20’s and Valorie was in her early 40’s when she took the role

I’m a tad late to this episode but I thought this was funny cause I actually kinda wanted to see what they would do with her character

So I’ll start off by saying I’m a really big fan of Anissa, >!however I in no way endorse what she does to mark in the comics, Ive made multiple posts saying why issue 110 was basically not needed given it’s material but I don’t want to rub people the wrong way I!< >!do think male SA rep is important but I don’t think it should be used in superhero media!< I’m worried they’ll adapt a certain issue into the show and I know it sounds terrible cause I’m a fully grown man but I’m worried it’ll ruin one of my favourite characters

Also id feel bad for the VA considering Shantel Vansanten actually has been a victim of SH (one tree hill) and given the fact that her and both Steven Yuen are Christian

I would like to state that I am all for male SA representation in media if done right but this case in particular just p*sses me off

I hate this fandom when it comes to Anissa cause she’s genuinely one of my favorite characters in the show (no I am not a freak and I just genuinely like the character) the thing that frustrates the ever loving sh*t out of me is that these mfs cant come to terms with the fact that it’s Amazon and invincible is it’s second biggest show behind the boys also Anissa’s VA Shantel vansanten was a victim of SH and emotional manipulation why on earth would they cast an actual victim to play a 🍇ist a few more factors you have to consider is that Shes a playable character in the base game (invincible VS), Amazon has never actually had a main cover character get SA’d before so what would make them flip the switch now, and the actress has never played a perp of SA so no offence to her but I doubt she’d have that range to do so + her comfort with voicing something as dark as that… anyway rant over but issue 110 was unnecessary and didn’t further the plot whatsoever
