Barbra Jean

I’m on the very beginning of season 4. I watched the show as a kiddo, I was about 3 when the show premiered so I didn’t understand what was going on back then.

Anyways as I watch I’m noticing that BJ went from clueless other woman made mother and wife to a woman who heavily realized that saying “if he cheats with you he will cheat on you”. Even though tbh Brock wasn’t an awful person who was cheating on her.

Now don’t get it twisted everything is Brock’s fault and he does kind of suck for being the guy who got a woman pregnant while in couples therapy with his wife of 20 years.

However BJ is going overboard on the cookcoo train. She’s not communicating and she’s not caring about Brock as a person. She thinks that if everything isn’t picture perfect she is being wronged. Teenage mindset if ya ask me.

John Amos

Why do I not see more people talking about how John Amos is just as much a villain as Corrine or Olivia?
That man pressured Bart Jr. to be the second coming of Malcom.

Edit to add: who hurt V.C. Andrews. How do you come up with this stuff…
And also I wish I could remember who gave me FitA/PotW (the one that was two books in one) because WHY WOULD YOU LET A MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILD READ THESE NOVELS?!??
I was given the first two books in middle school and read them in middle school. Who let me read this at such a young age???

Second edit to add: I hate melody.

Rewatching the Dollanganger movies

I read these books more than 15 years ago. I’ve seen the original movies and the 2014 version of “Flowers in the Attic”.
I’m going to reread the books but for tonight I’m watching the 2014 movie.
Of the entire series, it’s Cory that hurts me the most. Oh my sweet baby boy 😫😫😫 how I want to reach through the book and save you!!!
Yes the entire thing is crazy, especially Corrine towards the end of her life. But CORY!?!? Why would V.C. Andrews do that to us?
