A seller clicked cancel and not return the item in error

I suspect the answer is going to be that there is nothing I can do to help but let me ask. I bought a £10 item that was incorrectly listed and measured differently when it arrived. I clicked on a return asking for a label and the seller clicked on cancel but didn’t provide a label. I have had this before with cheaper items and assumed they just didn’t want to pay the return postage for a £10 item. But a week or so later they messaged asking why I hadn’t returned the item! I have said I would be happy to do so but strictly on platform as I don’t to be seen to share personal data in messages. They offered to send me postage costs but I am not sending bank details and then they offered to post cash for the postage, which seems odd for a £10 item. This is block and walk away time isn’t it?

Let me just share a little more William Lennon love

As they look so much better with jeans rather than the shorts I was pairing them with when they first arrived. Buckwheat from C.F.Stead displaying a patina that I am looking forward to adding too.

Truman Red Russet Rambler from CF Stead

These actually arrived on the same day as the William Lennons I posted earlier and coincidentally the leather also came from the CF Stead Tannery in Leeds. I do like their leathers, the texture on these is absolutely gorgeous. Trumans in a 10.5D and fit true to size, or perhaps true to expectations. I posted recently about the need to stretch a pair of Trumans that were also a 10.5D but these don’t seem to need any fine tuning.

Willian Lennon chukka in CFStead’s buckwheat suede

New to me; William Lennon chukkas with a glorious patina on this buckwheat suede from CFStead. Unfortunately they have been resoled elsewhere, just the fore piece and heel cap, so that’s a fairly easy fix and they could use a gentle sanding to the natural finish on the edge of the sole which I think would best be done at the same time but the vamp needs absolutely nothing. Perhaps some leather laces. And they are a perfect fit. Forgive the bare legs but I have been cycling all day and just got back when these arrived so jumped straight in.

Ok, I will be the first to admit it’s a strong look …….

But needs must. This is a trick I have used successfully with cowboy boots; a liberal spritz of Kaps shoe stretch, a chunky pair of socks and plastic bags to ease progress. My left foot is bigger but the right boot is tightest so hoping for a save here. Anyone had any joy stretching Trumans?
