I have a question regarding proof of funds. For her application, is it necessary to show funds in her personal bank account, or can I use my own financial documents as proof of support?
I can provide:
My Canadian bank statements
Pay stubs from my employment
Bank balance certificate
Employment documents
We can also include net worth certificates from our families if needed. At the moment, my wife does not have significant funds in her own account.
For those who recently applied for a SOWP, what financial documents did you submit, and was it sufficient to use the spouse’s funds in Canada?

I’m a PGWP holder and i work in teer one marketing role. Im getting married next month. My fiance is in India. I talked to an immigration agency they said i require 30K in funds to be eligible for SOWP approval Which i donot have as of now. Nowhere its mentioned we needed this much funds. I work 2 jobs i have paystubs + savings 17.5k till now. Kindly help what shall i do? Is 30k necessary for approval? What are the options?
