Help! belly button piercing infected or rejecting?
Got it pierced 1 month ago but piercer gave me a classic navel jewelry and after 2 weeks i noticed the pressure of my stomach while sitting would push the ball to the side and it was healing crooked. Went to a new place and they told me i don’t have the right anatomy for it and got it switched to a floating navel which immediately felt better.
it’s still crooked but i don’t mind , i just can’t tell if this level of redness is an irritation bump or if it’s rejecting :( there’s no puss, only clear liquid, and it doesn’t hurt. i clean it with Neilmed Piercing Aftercare 2x a day and only wear low waisted pants. I do occasionally sleep on my stomach in my sleep and my cat keeps stepping on my tummy over my clothes which is obviously not helping :(
what do you think? irritation? rejection?
