Help please I have never had something like this and I havent found anything on google that looks like this!!!

I (28F) have this mole? Its near my ankle so I really cannot get a good look at it, but I am concerned!
It appeared some time a few years ago and I thought nothing of it until Ive been rubbing it recently and it feels so dry? Scabby? Callous-like? But if I were to try and press my nail or scratch it off, its obviously very attached to me and at some point of pressure it hurts like im prodding/pinching my normal flesh/skin.
I've been reading up online about normal and bad moles or warts and im honestly confused, unsure, and ultimately scared. I dont currently have health insurance and just want some more experienced or knowledgable input here please.
