An introvert living in the most extroverted area

Hi! I’m a 29 year old woman and I’ve lived in downtown for about 5+ years. I feel like there is nothing to do besides restaurants and bars. I can’t stand bars. I like restaurants but I feel too nervous to try new restaurants alone. Sometimes I enjoy going on walks. Like many of us here, I struggle with finding friends. What are some ways you have successfully made friends? I realize that I have to get out of my shell and put myself out there. I think I’m ready to do so. I enjoy learning, crafts, and video games etc. Any nearby activity recommendations where I could meet people, would be great. Thank you ☺️

Do any of you have a friend you argue with a lot but prefer to remain friends with them?

I have male friend that is an ESTP and we literally argue once or twice a week. Sometimes the arguments get heated from my pov. I always feel like the last argument will be the end if the friendship. But it’s never the end 😂 it’s like we are inseparable. I think he is an ESTP 8w7 and apparently they like to be challenged. We are both very stubborn and will not surrender in any argument. We just go back to normal like nothing ever happened. We work near each other and our jobs require us having to partner sometimes so maybe that’s why we still become friends after? If I threaten to end the friendship he won’t accept that. I know this sounds toxic but it’s kinda fun. Immature, I know.

Would any of you be able to tolerate this or are we just toxic and weird?
