Late 20s and society's pressure

I never thought I’d be posting something like this, but here I am. I (F) looking to settle down with the right partner, but I’m not in a rush. Unfortunately, the pressure from my family is getting overwhelming.

To everyone looking at me from the outside, I "check all the boxes"—looks, height, education, career—so they can't wrap their head around why I’m still single.

How do you make people understand that being ready for marriage doesn't mean settling for just anyone just to make the chatter stop?

For those who married in their late 20s or 30s: do you have any regrets about waiting? What happens when you hold out until it truly feels right?

Need Advice: Should I Buy This 2007 Japanese Mitsubishi Lancer?

*Posting for a friend*

I'm looking for a used car in Pakistan with a budget of around PKR 1.8 million. After checking many Civic and Swift options, I found a 2007 Japanese Mitsubishi Lancer. The guy quoted 17.5 lacs after negotiation. It has great features, the AC and electricals work perfectly, and the suspension, radiator, AC condenser, coils, plugs, and several other parts have recently been replaced.

The car's interior is pristine the outer body is showered but not too neat.

But during the inspection, my mechanic said the engine is around 50% and will likely need an overhaul costing about PKR 150-180k. The tyres also need replacement.

My questions are:

- Is it worth buying a Lancer in this condition if I negotiate the price further?

- Is it normal for a nearly 20-year-old car to have so many parts replaced, or is that a red flag?

- What would be a fair price for this car considering the engine and tyre work?

- Would you buy it, or should I keep looking?

I'd especially appreciate advice from anyone who has owned a Japanese Lancer or has experience buying older cars in Pakistan.

For those preferring a homemaker: Is your focus on traditional division of labor and family care? How do you view the single-income dynamic?

For the women: What are your own expectations and dealbreakers regarding work-life balance after marriage?
