What's it like living in Nambour

I am selling my house in the inner city of Bris Vegas, and I want to go somewhere with lots of trees and birds. There are some great large properties in my price range around Nambour: but what's it like there? Will I have nice neighbours? Is there a bushfire risk?

Bowen Hills: how is living there?

My son has saved enough for a deposit and is looking to buy a 1br unit. There are some good ones at Bowen Hills that also have a study, that aren't stupidly expensive (well, they're all stupidly expensive, but not as expensive as Toowong for e.g.). Does anyone live in an apartment around Bowen Hills, and is it a good neighbourhood for a young man?

Repartnering late in life pension rules

Does anyone have any insight or experience? I am in my 60s and have worked hard for my super, which will be very good in my retirement in a couple of years. I am in a serious relationship with a man my age, who has hardly any super at all due to losing his business in the GFC. It would be lovely to get married, but I think the government would make me support him. Am I right? That means my super essentially gets halved.

My ideal would be to enter a dual living arrangement (upstairs/downstairs kind of thing), but I'm not sure how Centrelink would view that. He has paid tax all his life and should be able to get a pension, but I think if we are together we both get shafted.

Thoughts?

Can anyone recommend somebody who's not egomaniacal and eye-wateringly expensive? Somebody with good bedside manner who doesn't try to upsell me Botox when I go for a skin check? Bonus points if they are northern or western suburbs.
