My boy Soul Spear does not deserve the hate.

True that it does practically the same dmg as Great heavy souls arrow with 3 times the fp cost. But it's faster, and in a boss fight, you don't care about fp effeciency, you want the boss to die before you do.

So until you reach the archives, please use Soul spear and ignore the hate. It's good.

If the cutscene of the Abyss watchers showed the riposte being done after a parry instead of after a slash. I think that would be a great way for the game to show you "Hey, this boss is weak to parries, try them out".

Ever stop and use shields just to see what they are like and then wonder "Why do we never see them in PVE?". In DS1 and DS2 they were common but in DS3 and ER you only see them for parries. What happened?

I was testing the shield, that's why I am so passive.

I really love the little backflip you do when blocking a big attack, its very cinematic.
