What is wrong with the pigeon?

One of our backyard visitors seems to have some kind of illness. I noticed it yesterday for the first time. Every time it is drinking some water, it suddenly stops and weirdly stretches its wings. It looks like the little fellow is in pain. I also noticed heavier breathing. Today, it didn't eat anything like it usually does. I'm worried about a contagious disease because I found two dead pigeons over the weekend. Any ideas?

What kind of illness?

Hello, One of my backyard pigeons, unfortunately, died today. I noticed it yesterday just sitting on the ground all day long, not eating anything, but drinking a few times. When it got dark, the pigeon just stayed there. I picked it up, providing a safe spot for the night. I was planning to bring it to a bird rehab center this morning. It was still alive when I woke up but died shortly after. I noticed its chest looked pretty puffy, and there was some heavy breathing. Do you know what kind of illness that could be and if there's anything I can do the next time that happens?

Today's driver update completely bricked my Windows 11 system (BSOD loop, safe mode inaccessible)

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give a heads-up and see if anyone else is dealing with this. I installed a Nvidia driver update this morning, and immediately after the reboot, my PC went into a constant Blue Screen (BSOD) loop ("Your device ran into a problem...").

I am completely locked out of Windows. Here is what I’ve tried so far from the recovery environment:

- Safe Mode: Won't load at all.

- System Restore: Failed / thrown errors.

- Startup Repair: Couldn't fix the issue.

- Command Prompt: Tried renaming/disabling the NVIDIA folders via CMD, but still getting the same BSOD.

I think the update did some serious corruption.

Is anyone else experiencing this with the latest release? At this point, it looks like my only option left is a clean Windows re-install.

What's up with this one?

One of my backyard pigeons is about 1,5 to 2 months old, and still looks like that. Is that a birth defect or something like that? It behaves pretty normally, but I noticed that it struggles with flying more than the other birds. The tail feathers are thinner than usual.

Sick Pigeon

There's a pigeon sitting in my backyard that is acting weird. It's sitting in a tree or on the ground most of the time, not eating, but drinking some water once in a while. If I get close to it, it gets away, so catching it might be an issue. It's seems like the throat is thicker than usual. Does anyone know what the issue might be and how I can help?
