Disabled train at Pico

Got a picture of the disabled train at Pico station. Looks like they're trying to tow it out with another P2550

It's been 15 years since the newly built Jaén Tram in Spain was shut down after running for only two weeks

The tram opened in 2011, and only ran for two weeks before shutting down. The tram has been in limbo for the past 15 years as local governments argue over who will fund the operational costs.

Supposedly 2026 is when the tram will start again, though many such announcements have been made before.

Ever since FEC Railway was bought out by Grupo Mexico and no longer share the same parent company, it has been consistently impeding any progress for passenger rail and sued Brightline to stop service expansions. Basically Brightline is in a relationship like Amtrak with the host railroad.

I just received a postcard from a Postcrossing Meetup where the person who sent it proudly states that they used ChatGPT to design the card. Normally I would not mention anything as it is often the case the sender didn't know. In this case, it was a card that was generated specifically for one of the meetups listed here: https://www.postcrossing.com/events/meetups/US

There isn't a rule against using AI for postcrossing but it just feels antithetical to write and send postcards but resort to using AI to create them especially for a meetup.
