I've been eyeing this univers for years and finally started to dive into it.

Starting by making my first two units of Fodders

I am unsure about the basing for now.
Here are my options :

Individual bases and regimental trays (Either 3 trays of 2x2 or 2 trays of 3x2)
Glue directly onto regimental bases ( Either 3 trays of 2x2 or 2 trays of 3x2 again)

I think I am leaning a bit more into the glued directly onto the 3x2 regimental bases option.

After traveling through most of Europe on this Tenere the old girl is getting closer and closer to 120.000kms and starting to cost a lot to stay in good running order. Soooo I THINK I finally made my peace with the idea of letting the dear friend go in order to move on to something newer and keep on and keep traveling trouble-free.

Right now I’m mainly looking at:

• Himalayan 450
• CFMOTO 450MT
• BMW 650 GS Dakar / Sertão
• Another XT660Z with lower mileage

My budget absolutely needs to stay below €5500, and ideally closer to the €3000–3500 range, which unfortunately rules out the T7.

No need for max power as I am perfectly happy with the 47hp of the XT, that kind of power/weight ratio fits me perfectly it seems. Though it needs to be highway worth ( 120 cruising speed) and off road worthy too as I often ride the TeT.

Being mechanically challenged, I'd like to avoid carburetors, so injection it is.

Would you have any other recommendations I could look into ?
