This is my 125 gallon tank that holds three rope fish and four bichirs. Any ideas how to make water clearer

Finally got 2 bichirs to finish up the 125. I’m hoping they are big enough for my other bichirs not to eat. Everyone pray for me

I have a 125 gallon tank by Aqueon..just spent a lot of money on a new Fluval FX2 canister filter.

Starting to worry I didn’t do enough research because the clamps that hold the intake and outtake tubes do not fit over the frame. Tried pushing down and it pops right off.

Any ideas or maybe I’m installing completely wrong?
