Where can I get a decent mattress that doesn't cost thousands?

Any mom and pop places y'all like?

I don't want foam at all. I need a firm mattress, in fact I want an old school spring one, but the sales person at Mattress Firm told me that doesn't exist anymore??

Should I wait for another spot to open up before scheduling?

Howdy, first timer here. I was planning on taking the exam today, and I feel ready to!

Unfortunately, I'd been told you could schedule and take same day, but there's nothing available in my area until Wednesday. Should I wait it out in hopes someone cancels or schedule something for a weird time Wednesday?

Do they charge you if you reschedule to an earlier test time too?

New House > Dog pee carpets > LVP Install

Howdy!

Bought a house. Immediately (day two) had to replace the ac and duct work (sad day), and when the ac was off for the day for install, we realized just how bad the carpets were as the stench was unbearable. Just layers and layers of pee. So I pulled them up.

Underneath was tons of texture overspray, so I scraped it up, and vacuumed a million times. My question is how clean does this floor have to be? Like mopped clean? Or is the vacuuming enough?

Also, the nails holding the tack strips in pulled cement with it when they came up. Can I just use Sikacryl Ready Mix Concrete Patch for that? Or does it need to be something else? Or could I possibly get away with not doing those since they're along the walls?

Plan is to lay a vapor barrier and then Lifeproof. (And change that diarrhea yellow paint lol.)

Life is crazy right now, so time is of the essence, but I want to make sure I do this right.

I've read a lot online, but looking for a little more human guidance from some pros, so tyia!!

Edit to add: I was SUPER lucky that the carpet padding had a waterproof layer, so just that one tiny splotch in the photo of pee got through, so I'm going to clean that up with an enzyme cleaner!

Devils Trumpet Removal

I’m looking for a one time lawn service to remove the insane amount of Devils Trumpet that’s grown all over the yard of the house I’m purchasing. Sellers didn’t have the yard maintained after they listed it.

Thing is the plant can be poisonous, so I don’t want to hire just any lawn care company/guy. Has to be removed at the root and is an aggressive seeder. Any recommendations?

Long shot: Trade my RevolutionPlus for your Revolution (regular) for cats??

Meowdy pawtners,

I have been working for 8+ months to gain the trust of a very young, very tiny feral. In this time she has had a litter and gotten pregnant again. She's now allowing me to pet her!!! Such a sassy, little tortie gift she is!

Anyways, I'd like to take her in, personally adopt her, give her a safe place to give birth, adopt out her kittens, and then fix her. I am about to move, so time is of the essence for me, and I need to get her indoors asap, however she has fleas. Bad. I cannot chance them with 4 other cats in the house, especially my geriatric old man who has some health issues.

I have a dose of Revolution Plus, but it is not safe for pregnant cats, but the regular Revolution is. Would anyone be able to trade a dose for a dose?
