The buyer changed the color in the photo and is requesting a refund.
Friends, I need some advice.
A buyer messaged me claiming I sent a bag in the wrong color—red instead of purple—and attached a photo. The color in the photo looked odd; it was an unpleasant shade that simply didn't exist in my inventory for that type of leather. I loaded the photo into Photoshop and, using a simple automatic color correction, immediately obtained an image showing the correct color—the exact one I had actually shipped.
How should I handle this? The buyer is asking for a refund or a replacement bag. I realize I risk getting a negative review or having a dispute opened against me. I’ve read that "item not as described" disputes are impossible to win.
Please advise on the best course of action; I don't want to feel like I'm being held hostage.
