Anybody have this pair and enjoy them ? Don’t see too many reviews on these they felt super comfortable in store just waiting on the heat to subside and in my thorogoods at the moment
Honestly boys I’m gonna stick with thorogood for the rest of my career I was a big advocate of Red Wing but over the years they’ve gotten worse quality and more expensive I like them since my feet are 10.7 and they make wide boots that help with that but after 250$ and 3 months blown out already and same w keen liberties soles falling apart after a warranty exchange twice in weeks but thorogood fits like a glove and a week in already like slippers I prefer tobacco leather but the quality is unmatched the last pair I had lasted 2 years until my son peed in them 😂 I said forget those and I expect the same with these even if they need a resole down the road I’ve bought 3 pairs of boots the last year from different brands blowing out thorogood never disappoints besides price but buy once and cry once and they won’t disappoint for guys looking for solid boots
Well boys new boot goofin time to sport some 8 inches had them about a year finally get to break them out my RWs took a shit after about 4 months (yes properly maintained) so went back to what I know lasts 🇺🇸💪🏼
These are a year and a half old and after oiling them they look really good these havent blown out like all my other boots I cant wear them all the time since theyre not waterproof so I rotate and wear them on dry and hot days and I do alot of flooded basements and undergrounds but they've got their wear forsure but this pair has surprised me alot on how well they've taken abuse and how good they still look compared to other boot brands I have.. Got them for 150$ at farm and fleet a long while back just figured id share the update i know people tend to like wedge sole but these are great too !
Some of you guys requested a update on these since they were newest addition to the traction tred lite platform so this is 3-4 months in.. Doing pretty good they mostly see high water and a shovel when I do plumbing undergrounds pit and floor drain etc and waterproofing has held up I do oil frequently as well would definitely recommend this pair the toe has held up pretty well considering the toes blow out on other pairs in this line up pretty fast now tbh I dont know how well they will hold up at the 6 month mark or past but will update then as well

Got a guy who works for a boot company gives me the hook ups on boots copped these for 100$ they retail around 300$ they seem extremely comfortable as far as build quality I’m not gonna lie they remind me of thorogood besides being wide which is perfect for me so might be a good alternative to the wide feet comrades in this group that can’t enjoy thorogoods
Little bit of a update for the homies so ive had these about two months now bout to oil for second time i work in residential rough in plumbing so always around mud flooded basements and foundations for undergrounds these have held up great and the most comfortable boots ive came across yet and ive tried every brand and many models got them for 240 after tax totally worth it theyre holding up great would advise getting tough toe but I havent had any issues to date and waterproofing is holding up great so maybe take a look at these if you want a comfortable light tank of a boot
