This pen is surprisingly flexible when used carefully, i love it so much a perfect pen for inking

This pen is pilot elite vintage with a 14k <f> nib with pilot black. Im amazed how soft and smooth the nib feels, the reverse writing(drawing) with the nib is one of the best in my collection, im glad i pick this up.

Which pen you guy considered the mark for diminishing returns, any other pen that cost more than that pen isn’t worth it or the writing experience isn’t worth that much more money.

After experiencing a lot of great fountain pen some cheap some very expensive from different brands, I consider the pilot 742 is the mark for a great pen and any pen that is more expensive than it doesn’t really have that much better writing experience, i choose the 742 and not the 823 or the 743 is because the size in the hand is basically perfect for my hand and larger too when posted, the 823 after using it is kinda disappointing for me because how back heavy it is.

That just my opinion you might like more feedback like sailor or platinum so i want to know which pen you consider the mark for diminishing returns.

[NPD] I just got one in a blue moon deal basically getting a brand new sailor 21k pro gear for 50$ and it my first ever sailor

This is a follow up with my previous post about selling my pilot custom 742 fa (that I rarely use) for 150 (I bought it for 125 back when the price isn’t high as now) to buy a nearly new sailor 21k pro gear for (estimated) 200$

I sold the pilot 742 fa in the same day as I bought this pen, i get to check the sailor out and dip try it, it was so new i was surprise the owner told me he had only dip this pen 3 time and save it for later to sold.

I’m thrilled to get my first sailor.

Im considering selling my pilot 742 <fa> to buy a sailor 21k, is this the right call?

My pilot 742 fa is basically nearly new because I didn’t use it very much, turn out I don’t like flex pen as i thought, and im thinking selling this pen for 150$, i bought this pen second hand for 128$ but this is before the price increase, and someone is offering to sell their sailor progear 21k for 208$. Should i do it?

I make a custom 2ml cartridge for my pilot pen

This is just a fun built with no real thought of how long this cartridge would last.

I gave up on queen ink and i never going to test my luck in cheap ink ever again

I want to give queen ink a Vietnamese ink brand a chance especially with the new version of their ink, it work good and cheap but when i go and refill my lamy 2000 after emptying it with sailor yamadori, the pen sucked up a long disgusting slime of ink in the bottle of queen ink, I immediately when and washed my pen immediately, and checked the bottle and found small bits in it.

Very disappointing for a bottle i just only bought for 3 months and barely used it, i store my ink in a dark cool closet, and all my other ink like diamine or pilot or sailor never have this, you got what you pay for i guess.
