What are recommended running shoes for boot camp that we can bring, I’m not tryna wear the ones they issue

Not gonna lie I’m in the waivers process and what not and going to meps and I’m not gonna lie I’m slightly concerned about asthma acting up in boot camp any words of wisdom?

Currently in the process of joining the navy, getting waivers for asthma and what not just trying to understand what’s gonna happen with that when I get to Great Lakes. I’m just tryna see if it’s even worth it to go through all that stuff. I’m being told that Rule was changed you wear a chit a you keep that inhaler on you at all times and you also do not do the confidence chamber. And then I’ve heard that the rdc keeps the inhaler on them at all times and they closely monitor you.

I asked this already but just trying to get different opinions but I Went to planned parenthood in 2021 to get estrogen for a more non binary look. Long story short I am not non binary or trans or anything. Trying to figure out what my chances at meps are gonna be and if I should tell my recruiter. Kind of embarrassed by The Whole situation
