WHAT HAPPENED

as you can see im attacking this Nomad ruler who has 4.7k troops
my troops are 8.5k, almost double
the moment i made contact with one of his counties he immediately attacked me and i got a defensive bonus
i thought the ai is doing its job again by being dumb as hell, but this time it seems its not dumb at all
the enemy crushed my army, no it obliterated it
they killed 3.7k while walking away with nearly 300 only
this is insane how did this happen
in my whole 800h of playing this is the first time i witnessed this

Islamism

I don't notice any major discussion in Marxists spaces regarding Islamism.

I think this is related to the location of those spaces where its mainly in the west where Islamism isnt that mature.

But where i live its dominant, in fact its the ruling ideology.

The country is Syria btw, prior to the Assad fall i always advocated that Islamism isnt this serious because it lacks all basics to create a framework that can produce any ideology or movements essential to make a change or practice politics, for me its just a reactionary force with a single very important feat, the constant production of militias.

In all islamists movements they are able to get a lot of militias, literally any country that held certain groups was able to recruit a very reasonable amount of fighters in a short period of time.

For me this is its main danger and the only considerable feature they have.

Now this has completely changed, the way the islamists are ruling my country with complete support from the west made them compatible, they cant be called a militia anymore they are way more dangerous than this.

This ofc isnt out of kindness from Westerns, the Islamists made my country an imperialist hub to American/Israeli campaigns, this is crystal clear and Trump 2 days ago said that we dont mind calling syria to attack Lebanon and dismantle Hezbollah.

I always tried to look up for people trying to point this out and call out the west support for the Syrian Islamists or islamists in general but no one takes this seriously.

This is very important because we see Marxists tolerate islamists in their western countries, this shouldn't be the case, they should be treated the same way as Zionist.

Fav Run

Whats your favorite run?

For me its both Asturia and Merica early middle ages.

For Asturia it always feels good to reconquer all of iberia and then start a conquest campaign in africa

And Merica always hits different, youre away from all and can create Brittania in like 30 years max.

Marxism Leninism will never work.

Hello comrades.

I have always been a fan of ML since the moment i started reading Marxist theory, The state and revolution was very important to me.

But as i grew i realized that i need to read a counter argument for even the most basic things i advocate for, in this situation the whole ideology of ML.

The book i read was Rosa Luxemburg's The Russian Revolution.

It actually changed my whole perspective on everything the Bolsheviks did after the civil war.

I always wondered what led the USSR to be a dictatorship, or why famines happened at some stages or the complete absence of democracy in it.

It was all because of what Lenin did after the civil war.

His act of land usurpation from landlords then distributes it to a small group of peasants (resulting not in socialism but a primitive stage of capitalism)

His hypocrisy of giving Ukrainians and other member nations the Right of Self Determination while at the same time completely blocking Russian bourgeois from practicing politics even tho it shouldn't be a problem since they are under the yoke of the proletarian dictatorship.

Also they way he disassembled national assemblies and said they are not needed anymore ( we won the civil war = we are the righteous people); very reactionary logic id say.

And more than this but i think this is enough to say for now, its really sad seeing a lot of Marxist Leninist who dont even know these things or worse who knows them and still think they were necessary back then.

All of the policies of the Bolsheviks created a state that would eventually collapse in the future because the inner contradictions seeded by these policies is not to be work around, stalin tried this tho when he tried to seize land again from farmers to reform the land policy i spoke of and ended up with a famine, thats just an example.

This show destroyed me

I was rejected by my crush a month ago after having feelings for him for almost a year, i did everything i can to get closer to him and i ended up being relatively close but not that much since hes a distant hard reach person.

Anyways i couldn't wait any longer because i realized he wont show any more interest than what he already showed so i just told him how i felt and he rejected me.

I started watching Ganbare nakamura kun 4 days ago and i have watched all its episodes twice since then😭.

It really breaks my heart each time i watch any interaction between Nakamura and Hirose because i only look at my rejected self amd just wish a miracle would happen so i end up with him again.

It literally fucked me up.

I genuinely cant beat the royal navy.

I did 5 German runs on historical.

In all of them i cap all the allies except for England before December starts and with less than 20k casualties.

The last run i made over 3000 planes of fighters cas and naval bombers.

Literally no one can stop me on land, but on sea its different.

The royal navy always chews up my whole naval forces like they aren't there.

I tried different strategies in the 5 campaigns:

1-Torpedo destroyers: this one from the buff destroyers got in the last patch, i made over 50 destroyers but it didnt work they all sank.

2-meme cruiser: this one from b3ttersteel, i literally copied what he did in his video and got capped in the end.

3-both of them together: most failure i couldnt even invade Norway in this one.

Its really frustrating i need help guys, i really loved that last campaign i even cheated in the end just to land in England and they didn't last a week before capitulating.

HELP.

I'm an IT engineer, but I'm not a junior-level "framework hopper." I focus on backend fundamentals first — HTTP, databases, auth, caching, queues, security, API design. That means I can work with any framework.

Right now I'm actively freelancing with:

  • Laravel (Elquent, queues, Sanctum, REST APIs)
  • Django / DRF (ORM, middleware, auth, serializers)
  • Spring Boot (JPA, Security, REST controllers, DI)

What I can do for you:

  • Build or refactor REST APIs
  • Add authentication / role-based access
  • Optimize slow queries and database performance
  • Integrate third-party APIs
  • Debug backend logic & fix security issues
  • Handle file uploads, background jobs, email, logging
