July 4th niche Shipping dates - now showing July 5th

Just another heads up to watch your shipping dates and consider pausing any ads related to the July 4th / 250th holiday. Always a good idea to put them back on immediately following since no one will be expecting you to ship into the past! lol

Last year on this day we were still getting ship dates before the holiday, but I think with the increase in demand for the 250th, they might have started throttling back just a little earlier.

Is this a genuine Mazda OEM Alternator?

Took my wife's CX-9 in for service at a new place that was partially covered by her dealer warranty. The tech insisted they use only OEM parts and quotes me full MSRP on parts that I can see from Mazda dealers for less, but it is what it is. Wife picks up the car and I snap a pic of the new belt and alternator.

We we're charged for OEM parts, but these do not look like OEM.

The belt we paid for was a Mazda PY01-15-909A, but the belt we got was a Mitsuboshi 6PK971.

The OEM alternator we paid for was a PY8V-18-300E. Those OEM mazda alternators have a sticker on them with the Mazda logo and part # visible by the electrical connector. That is not present here. Does this look like an OEM reman unit?

For comparison, this is a used OEM unit on ebay with sticker visible: https://i.imgur.com/6NVvGhA.jpeg
