Just put together this little box of straw, woodchips and coco coir, I mixed in some wood chips covered in white mycelium from a subs patch aswell as buried a few subs with mulch still at there bases, will these grow? Any tips for taking precolonized woodchips from the wild and growing them at home or in your garden?
Been 8 days now since adding the spores, nothing visibly diffirent yet but I know can take upto a month before seeing any signs of growth, any tips? How are the bags looking? I did lower the heat mat alot the rooms temperature is 13C going down to 6C at lowest the heat mat is set to 22C at max but rarely reaches that temp and stays just warm
Hey guys got almost no idea what I’m doing, I have been watching and learning for a few months now, have still air box (wiped down inside with iso) heat mat under it and a few grow bags inside I just used my liquid culture syringes on all of the bags aswell as some attempted spore printing on some agar dishes, I wiped down the bags with iso and heated the needle tip before injecting the bags and I gave 2 of the agar plates a brief spray with ISO aswell to be safe. Just waiting now any tips or advice or how long should I expect till I see some results ? Heat mat is set to 25 degrees Celsius at max also strains I’m growing are - Shooting star, Star Gazer, Thai Pink Buffalo and Pes Amazonian Thanks!
