Passed with a 27!!

Hi everyone!! I passed my exam with a 27 first try! Literally never thought I would pass first try but somehow I did it! My exam went to 132 questions so I was freaking out after it passed 125 and got some easy/some really hard questions.

The main resources that I used were Jean Inman, pocket prep, and I did all of the eat right prep pre test questions and 2 mock exams. I think the biggest advice I would say ironically is to stop reading reddit. I read so many of these posts and would freak out and stress over if I was doing the “right” thing.

I think that Jean inman questions were very similar to the content of my exam, but what helped me most was doing pocket prep questions and writing down the concepts I didn’t understand

Looking for study buddy!

Hi everyone, I take the exam for the first time on Friday and I’m super nervous. I feel like I’m pretty good with all of the math stuff and some of the food service, etc but I struggle with the clinical portion. Was wondering if anyone who is taking the exam soon or has already taken it and would want to get on a zoom call this week and maybe go through a practice exam and talk through the questions? Let me know!

Disgusted by lack of response from CDR

I sent this email to CDR and have not heard back in a week. Truly disappointed that this is what people with accommodations have to deal with and can’t even get a response.

If anyone has any connections to those at CDR who can help, it would be much appreciated.

Need advice 23 yo 5’2 F

For context, I’ve bounced up and down between weights ever since 2021. Last year I lost around 15 pounds, but gained back about 20 over the course of 10 months. Back in March, I was about 135 lbs and consitently lost about 1 lb a week but was eating around 1350-1400 cals a day. I lift weights 6 days a week and do cardio after. Around mid june I got to about 116-117, but then started binging occasionally. I knew this probably meant it was time to increase my calories but I strugge with that mentally which leads to a binge cycle. I’m now sitting at about 120lbs, and put my info into macrofactor. Should I try to eat at maintenence/super slow weight loss and for approx how long, do i just listen to the app? I really want to maintain the weight loss this time and build a bit of muscle but I just worry about gaining fat

Any Chicago RD2Bs studying for the exam currently?

My exam is scheduled for August 14 and I was curious if there was anyone here in the Chicago area that would want to get together for a study group!

4 month lock in

5’2, around ~135/136 in the first picture if I had to guess, now I’m around 117. Goal is to get to around 112 and maintain around there. I track everything on cronometer (million times better than myfitnesspal). Was eating around 1350 a week the first 2 or so months but have been able to increase to about 1800 now. Strength train 6x a week and 40 mins of cardio after.

CDR Outline for Exam (Advice very much appreciated!!! :))

Hi everyone! I'm currently studying for my exam and planning to take mid-July. I'm using Inman, pocket prep, and ERP. I made a google doc with the whole CDR outline that is posted online (This one ) and I was planning on filling out each section with the information from jean inman, pocket prep questions, etc. and then using that to study (maybe also putting the completed outline into chat/quizlet and having it give me questions). Does anyone who has taken the exam before think that this would be helpful? Is every single thing on the exam covered on that outline? I also was planning on hand writing in a notebook questions that I get wrong for each domain with an explanation as to why it is wrong. I really want to pass first try, so any advice is appreciated!
