I just saw a post trying to defame BMTC and their lovely employees, here's my experience with BMTC.

Not only are the drivers and conductors kind enough to pick me up when I'm running towards a bus stop, and understanding enough to drop me inbetween bus stop, they are also very honest and prompt about their work atleast most of them, there are a few bad eggs everywhere.

This one instance is what shaped majority of my opinion, when I was boarding a bus (500CA) I accidentally dropped my glasses that I had attached to my pocket (thankfully inside the bus). the power of my glasses are very mild, so I sometimes don't wear glasses, I had a lot of things on my mind so I didn't notice that my glasses were missing. Fast-forward to an hour and half, I reach office where I realise Im missing the glasses.

I really liked these glasses because they suited me well which almost never happens and they were pretty expensive around 5k for the frames. I thought the glasses were gone, I wanted to test my luck so I immediately called up BMTC helpline and the lady was very kind and understood my situation, asked me if I remembered the bus number, since I had paid with UPI the ID has the bus number so I told her that, she quickly looked into the number and found out the bus depot was close to me.

I thanked her and headed over to the depot where the security staff who were also in-charge of lost and found helped me. The guy sitting immediately called the bus conductor who instantly went and checked (I think the glasses had moved around) so the conductor couldnt find them, regardless I gave my number and asked them to call me if by chance they found it. They said they definitely will, and even showed a couple of items they had found in buses to reassure me.

Luckily enough tomorrow morning I got a call saying they found a pair of glasses and they sent over the image of the glasses, I was overjoyed it was mine! I bought them all small bottles of juices, thanked them and collected my glasses.

I just want to say please don't base your opinion on the title just because some kid doesn't understand how the system works, so many comments on the post were fully bashing BMTC for no reason without understanding what actually happend, the staff already have it rough with rude customers who take their frustration out on them, we don't need more hate for the kind people.
