All inclusive resorts - strict schedule

My partner and I got engaged recently and we are looking to book a destination wedding in late 2027-2028.

The biggest restriction is that I am starting a masters program in Sept 2027. This means I would likely get a break/time off in Dec, but likely not until after the 22nd. I know this is typically peak season, and there may even be resort blackout dates for booking weddings, or at the very least large increases in costs. This leaves late April/May, when classes stop (I plan to speak to my supervisor about this time period in the coming weeks). My biggest concern is the higher heat and sargassum for any beach side resorts.

We have a hopeful budget of around 20000-25000. Still discussing this. We expect anywhere from 50-100 guests (we haven’t had the time to talk to everyone about the feasibility for them for attending a destination wedding).

Still in the very early stages of planning, we really want to do destination but with these concerns, now wondering if we need to pivot completely. Any recommendations, advice, or shared experiences would be very appreciated!

Summer formal/Formal

I’m going to a few weddings with non overlapping guest lists this summer. I tried on this dress and really liked it but not sure if it’s too much.

The dress codes are summer formal (but might lean causal), and formal. So I’m thinking of leaning mostly formal, but with a lighter colour.

(Repost from earlier because I realized none are actually daytime weddings, all happen in the afternoon-evening)

Hoping to find a dress that will meet all three dress codes. Some brides have said they want to see us in our best, some had more of the “as long as it’s not jeans.” So thinking I might be overdressed for that one.

Thoughts?
