Car needs a jump start

At least that is what I hope is the problem. What is the quickest and cheapest way to get someone to come and give you a jump start in Ukiah? It needs to be from one of those handheld things, because I can’t open the hood very far because the front of the car is under something hanging in the car port.

How long can the resin stay in the mold?

I poured deep pour resin into a rectangular silicone mold, 2 separate layers. The second layer should be cured soon. I want to keep it in the mold so I can add a thin top layer of regular resin later when I mix some up. It might be around a week before I do this. But should I not wait? should I demold the piece as soon as it is cured?

Made a pour into a mixed media piece.

Link below to the post I made when I first poured this painting. I went on to find this clock face on the internet, wet it down, let it dry and pasted it in the center. Then I added the cabochons. I think I used the wrong orientation of the original piece. The paint should be stretched out sideways, not up and down. But then the clock face will be out of whack.

Closest I’ve got to a feathery straight pour

At least I have some stripes. But not those perfectly symmetrical feathers with the lake. Oh well. Have to try again.

This was another failed straight pour. I decided to make it into a tree, adding a silver paint moon and these cabochons I dipped into paint. I can’t decide whether to call it Night Apples or Moon Tree.

I tried again to do a straight pour trying to get that feather effect, and failed again! The end result wasn’t terrible, but I think the things I did with left over paint were better. First I dipped glass cabochons in the drops that ran off, then I turned the pouring cup upside down on a wooden coaster I had primed and tilted it around.

Found this in my yard at the edge of my town in Northern California. There are not usually loose dogs around, but bear and cougars have been spotted, very rarely.
