Help to epoxy rock tile bathroom floor

Any advice on how to pour resin onto this rock bathroom floor? And what kind and how much to use. It's 70" x 59"...

fyi- I was hired to tile this floor, and I told them not to use these, but that's what they wanted so that's what I did... A year later, they want me to pour epoxy resin onto it to level it and seal it. They have a talent for flooding their floors and keeping it wet... because the grout is getting stained and it hurts their feet... please help. I'm handy and capable. Just out of my realm here a bit.

I made a soda can opener keychain for long nails

I love drinking soda but it's always been so hard for me to open the soda tab with long nails, so I made a soda opener to make it easier and to protect my nails! I attached it to my purse and use it all the time now, it's saves my nails a ton!

I 3D printed it then glazed it with a coat or resin with some glitter mixed in ✨

Any ideas on how to make lids slip on better.

I have multiple molds that make containers . Two are container that have a screw on caps and one is a box that the lid slide into. What do I use to make the cap screw on easier and lid slide in nice and not stick? ( the box is my first attempt, I just want some suggestions for when I get it right.)

Help

I see many items like this saying that they are resin. Can any point me in the right direction on how to make something like this?

Ditched the cheap vacuum bubble machine and stepped up.

I was really tired of the Amazon grade bubble machines that took forever to de-gas the resin. I stepped up and got a vacuum pump used for air-conditioning units and an acrylic chamber and I am kicking myself for not doing this sooner.

Any ideas to salvage this project?

Hey, let me start off by saying I know I made a few mistakes during this project and I am still new to using resin. This post is less discussing the mistakes I made but if I can do anything to salvage this project. Currently I am having an issue where some of the middle layers aren't fully cured after months after the pour - I am aware this will never cure and is most likely due to a improper ratio or not mixing entirely. Since I made multiple pours, the bottom and top layers are cured but the middle layer is not and it is causing uncured epoxy to seep out of the top and some of the sides. Seeing how it is leaking epoxy, the table is not food safe and I'm wondering if there are any suggestions to salvage the project, even if I have to use the table for something entirely different, I'd just prefer not to throw it out entirely

Did I just completely screw up my project

Of all the prep and planning I did I can't believe I didn't look into this 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've done a handful of resin projects but this is my first time doing anything more than a half inch thick and I put some dehydrated flower petals in it. They had been dehydrated for months so they shouldn't have any moisture left, but I read up on it a little and apparently I'm supposed to seal it? Definitely didn't do that, so are they going to degrade in the resin now?

If it matters, I used rose and lily petals. The lily petals already look.. clearer? It's kinda cool for how it looks right now but I just hope it stays as is

ALSO: this is not UV drying, I just have to wait for like, 5 days for it to fully cure if that matters

Is it OK to put resin over Polaroids?

I’ve been working on this project for a while, which is old photos of the solar eclipse from years ago. This is the viewing board I used for the whole street. We took some Polaroids on the den and put them on here. Is it OK to pour resin over these at like half an inch or will it ruin the Polaroids?

Recommendations for shallow pouring

Hi all, I've been creating with resin for about 5 years now, mainly creating art and using molds for deep pours. Over the last few months i started venturing into pick guards for guitars, and despite having my usual work down to a science for successful curing, this shallow pour just isnt working for me! Once cured it's not tacky, but can bend or flex. It isnt losing its shape, either. Is the flex normal for a shallow pour?

I've now poured with 3 different types of epoxy resin, made 'controls' with no mica or dye added, and paid close attention to curing environment and cant get a guard that doesnt flex when I bend it. Im looking for any tricks or recommendations from those experienced with pick guards or shallow pours to acheive a truly hard cure. Thanks!

Acrylic paint

If I paint the inside of a mold with acrylic before pouring resin, will the resin seize the paint? I’ve done it with mica of course but I’m curious about doing it with something more opaque. Anyone have experience with this?
