After a recent trip back to San Francisco I HAD to start another play through and as always this is my favorite game for photo mode.

I found a good stick and brought it home and thought to myself “oh what a perfect place to store it until I’m ready to make something with it.” But every time I see it I keep thinking to myself “I am setting myself up to be in the next final destination movie as a throwaway death.”

Finally finished the latest Slab. But damn it turned out clean

Galaxycon in Raleigh. Turned a corner and there he was. Barely snapped this before a staff member said I couldn’t do that (oops). Sadly I was too late to actually get a photo with him.

I am so proud of how this turned out!

Painted some glow in the dark powder on the surface of this piece before pouring. Love it.

Finished the sword stand I have been making for the last week or so.

Forgot the first rule of doming when I did round one; always sand your surface. Had to do it a second time but god damn that looks good!

Finally finished my most recent coffee table slab. Been orbital sanding the sides the last couple days. Mostly so I don’t slice my hands to ribbons just lifting the thing. The plan is for this to be completely sunken in a wooden frame so it doesn’t NEED to look clean but I wanted to ask reddit for advice. How would you clean these up or clarify them? Would you dome? Use lacquer? How would you keep spills from wrecking the rest of the piece? What would you use to finish the top surface so it’s damaged resistant and will last longer? I plan to keep making these and I wanted them to be good quality since I wanna sell them.
