Finally finished my most recent coffee table slab. Been orbital sanding the sides the last couple days. Mostly so I don’t slice my hands to ribbons just lifting the thing. The plan is for this to be completely sunken in a wooden frame so it doesn’t NEED to look clean but I wanted to ask reddit for advice. How would you clean these up or clarify them? Would you dome? Use lacquer? How would you keep spills from wrecking the rest of the piece? What would you use to finish the top surface so it’s damaged resistant and will last longer? I plan to keep making these and I wanted them to be good quality since I wanna sell them.

Been pouring my extra resin in a bucket with some branches. Now it’s done and I’m gonna cut it into coasters to use in other projects. Let’s see how it goes.

This is my managers “solution” to the”ugly sanitizer bottles” being taken to the tables. We now have to have individual folded towels on individual plates that we spray before wiping down tables. Then refold and put back on their plates. What. The. Fuck?!?

1. Some kind of sharp pointy object with which to hurt someone else (ie, some kind of sword analogue)
2. Fried dough in one form or another as a tasty treat
